JUDGEMENT

(1.) This order shall dispose of the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.345 dated 28.11.2015, under Section 406 IPC (Section 409 IPC has been added later on), registered at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur.

(2.) On 21.03.2016, while issuing notice of motion, the following order was passed by this Court:

Counsel contends that the petitioner is merely a Peon working in the bank and has no role whatsoever to play in the operation of the bank locker and is being made a scapegoat to shield some senior official even if the allegations are taken to be correct. Notice of motion, returnable on 01.06.2016. In the meanwhile, petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer and to join investigation.
