BALWINDER PAL SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed under Sec. 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.191 dtd. 31/12/2013, registered under Ss. 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'the IPC'), at Police Station City Samana, Distt. Patiala, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

(2.) Vide order dtd. 26/7/2016, the parties were directed to appear before the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their statements recorded. In compliance thereof, report of learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Samana, dtd. 11/8/2016, has been received, wherein, it has been noticed that the compromise between the parties is genuine, voluntary and reached without any pressure and undue influence.
