JUDGEMENT

(1.) This case was adjourned sine die on 12.09.2014 with liberty to the petitioners to move an application when the complainant was available for recording her statement regarding the settlement effected between the parties which led to the filing of this petition for quashing of FIR No. 98 dated 27.10.2011 registered under Sections 406/34 IPC at Police Station Rahon, District SBS Nagar on the basis of settlement. Notice in the application.

(2.) On the asking of the Court, Mr. Ankur Jain, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice of the application on behalf of respondent No. 1.

(3.) Mr. Rajesh K. Dadwal, Advocate appears on behalf of respondent No. 2, who has authorised her mother Tarsem Kaur to appear on her behalf as well as suffer a statement in regard to the settlement arrived at between the parties and take all steps as may be necessary for facilitating the quashing of the above said FIR.
