(1.) This petition has been filed under Sec. 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.0084 dtd. 15/6/2016, registered under Ss. 458, 323, 506, 148, 109 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'the IPC') read with Sec. 149 IPC, at Police Station Lehra, Distt. Sangrur, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.
(2.) Vide order dtd. 26/7/2016, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court, for getting their statements recorded. In compliance thereof, report of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Moonak, dtd. 9/8/2016, has been received, wherein, it has been noticed that the compromise between the parties is genuine, voluntary and reached without any pressure and undue influence.
