NISHA AND ANOTHER Vs. KEHAR SINGH

JUDGEMENT

(1.) (Oral) - This petition under Sec. 482 Crimial P.C. has been filed challenging the judgment dated 12.04.2014 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Palwal.

(2.) A petition under Sec. 125 Crimial P.C. was filed by Nisha and her minor daughter. The trial Court found that there was no evidence to show the income. Treating the husband to be a casual labourer, taking the income to be Rs. 6000.00 per month, it awarded maintenance of Rs. 2000.00 per month to petitioner No.1 and Rs. 1500.00 to petitioner No. 2.

(3.) The order was not challenged by the wife. However, the husband filed a revision. The Revisional Court modified the order and set aside the order so far as the award of maintenance to the wife is concerned. The order of maintenance to the child was affirmed.
