SURINDER PAL Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Prayer is under Sec. 438 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner Surinder Pal in case FIR No.78 dated 11.04.2015 for offences punishable under Sections 454 and 380 of Indian Penal Code registered with Police Station Division No.8, Jalandhar.

(2.) While issuing notice of motion vide order dated 11.05.2015 this Court has noticed following contentions:-

(3.) Learned State Counsel assisted by ASI Bhagwant Singh submits that after thorough investigation a cancellation report has been prepared which is under the process of being approved. He further submits that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no longer required.
