THE prayer made by the petitioner is that his claim for appointment as Part Time Member of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kurukshetra be considered as he had applied in response to the advertisement dated 25.07.2005 (Annexure P-5). However, the stand taken in the written statement filed by the respondents is that vide advertisement dated 27.07.2005 (Annexure R-1) published in "THE Tribune", the last date of the application fixed was 18.08.2005. THE application sent by the applicant on 19.082005, which was diarised at No.1650. Accordingly, the case of the petitioner could not be considered. THEre is no merit in the petition. Dismissed.
