(2.) THROUGH the instant writ petition, the petitioner has sought issuance of an appropriate writ, directing the respondents, to consider his case for promotion as Lecturer in Commerce. The instant claim is based on the fact that an individual, junior to the petitioner (proforma respondent no.4), was promoted as such, without considering the claim of the petitioner, by an order dated 20.11.1995 (Annexure P-6).
