JUDGEMENT

(1.) Notice of motion to the respondents. On the asking of the Court, Sh. Ashok Jindal, Additional Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Copy of the writ petition be supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

(2.) The petitioners claims themselves to be oustees and as such claim that they are entitled to the allotment of plots under the oustees quota. It has also been averred by the counsel for the petitioners that an application dated March 23, 1998 has been filed by the petitioners for allotment of plots under the oustees quota but no action whatsoever has been taken on it so far. The petitioners, thereafter filed a representation Annexure P-13, which remains unresponded so far.

(3.) In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Estate Officer, HUDA, Panipat to decide the aforesaid representation within a period of 3 months from the date a certified copy of this order is received by passing a detailed and speaking order.
