THIS petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing order dated 30.8.2006 (P-5) transferring the petitioner from Jind Depot to Hissar Depot considering him to be junior most. Challenge has also been made to the order dated 12.4.2006 (P-3) to the extent it promote the petitioner w.e.f. 1.8.2001 instead of 13.3.1999 when his juniors were stated to be promoted. A further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to declare the petitioner senior to the persons who are junior to him in the seniority list and to promote him from the date from which they were promoted i.e. 13.3.1999.
