(2.) NOTICE of motion to the respondents. On the asking of Court, Shri S.S.Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. The petitioners are the Kerosene Depot Holders. They claim that according to the policy of the State Government the ration depots were to be allotted to such Kerosene Depot Holders. However, an advertisement (Annexure P.3) has been issued whereby applications have been invited for allotment of ration depots from the general public. The petitioners have approached this Court challenging the aforesaid action of the respondents. From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice (Annexure P.4) has been served by the petitioner which remains unresponded.
