JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONER Gurpreet Singh @ Laddi has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.57 dated 10.5.2001 registered under Sections 307/452/379/427/148/149 IPC at Police Station Samrala, District Ludhiana. I have heard the counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR. In this case, the petitioner has jumped the bail twice. Now he is in custody since 1.7.2006. I have been informed by the State counsel that before the trial Court the case is now fixed for 18.10.2006 for final arguments. Keeping in view these facts, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Dismissed.
