ON July 20, 1999, a Division Bench of this Court had directed for bringing on record detailed information as to whether any other person apart from those who are mentioned in order annexure P-5 have been promoted to the next rank after the petitioner had passed the ROG-I Course on June 27, 1995. The hearing was adjourned sine die. However, no information, as required by the Division Bench order, has been placed on record. In such a situation, no adjudication can take place nor the counsel has put in appearance. C.W.P. No. 9685 of 1999 [2] In view of the above, the writ petition fails and the same is dismissed.
