JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE name of the petitioner figured in the waiting list, for appointment against the post of Staff Nurse. Since despite availability of vacancies, the petitioner was not issued an offer of appointment, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the instant writ petition. In the written statement filed on behalf of the respondents, an order dated 22.10.2004 has been appended as Annexure R-4. Relevant extract of Annexure R-4 is reproduced hereunder :-

IN view of the factual position depicted in the extract of the order dated 22.10.2004, it is apparent that the issue in hand is still subject matter of consideration at the hands of the respondents. IN view of the peculiar factual position noticed above, we consider it just and appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition by directing respondent no.1 to take a final decision in this behalf within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Disposed of, accordingly. Order dasti on payment of usual charges.
