(2.) ON the basis of letter dated 12.5.2005 (reproduced in the order dated 23.5.2005, P-1), order dated 23.5.2005, passed by this Court in C.W.P. No. 20307 of 2002 (P-1) and orders dated 23.5.2005 and 20.10.2005 (P-2 & P-3 respectively), the petitioners have approached this Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them benefit of deemed date of promotion to the post of Principal and consequential benefits along with interest @ 18% per annum. For the aforementioned relief, the petitioners have already sent a legal notice dated 22.12.2005 (P- 4).
