THE instant writ petition is directed against order dated 4.7.2006 (Annexure P-2) transferring the petitioner from Government Polytechnic, Jhajjar to Government Polytechnic, Loharu District Bhiwani. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the wife of the petitioner has been working as S.S. Mistress at Jhajjar and after a period of ten years they were given posting at one station only two years back. THE violation of the transfer policy dated 16.3.2006 (Annexure P-1) has also been pointed out inasmuch as para 6 of the transfer policy provides to keep the couple, as far as possible at the same station of their choice. It has also been provided that if due to administrative reasons one of the spouse has to be transferred then the posting has to be at a station near the home of the other spouse, if it is possible. THE policy further points out that as far as possible such officer/official is not to be posted at difficult and medium stations unless the officer is otherwise willing to serve.
