ON March 29, 2000, a Division Bench of this Court issued interim directions granting permission to the petitioners to be interviewed provisionally by the respondents for the posts of JBT Teacher, on the assumption that they had the requisite qualification for the aforementioned post. It was further directed by the Division Bench that if the petitioners make a grade in the merit list so prepared, then appointment letters were to be issued to them which were subject to further orders to be passed in the writ petition. A condition to that effect was required to be incorporated in the appointment letter itself.
