INDERJIT KAUR KANG Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Petitioner Inderjit Kaur Kang apprehending her arrest in a nonbailable offence in case FIR No. 234 dated 25.8.1995 under Sections 420/467/468/120-B IPC, registered at PP Ladhowal, Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Ludhiana, has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for anticipatory bail.

(2.) This order may be read in continuation of the order dated 31.8.2006. I have heard counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR.

(3.) Counsel for the petitioner contends that in view of the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from Balwinder Singh, ASI, does not dispute this fact and further states that since the investigation is complete, the petitioner is no more required for further interrogation. Counsel further contends that supplementary challan will be filed in Court soon.
