JUDGEMENT

(1.) PRAYER in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.123 dated 7.6.2005 registered under Sections 420,467,468,471,120-B of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar. Vide order of this Court dated 27.1.2006, it was ordered that in the event of arrest of the petitioners, they shall be released on bail, subject to the conditions enumerated therein. Counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have joined investigation, therefore, their custodial interrogation is not required. Counsel for the State of Punjab, on instructions from S.I. Dilbag Singh, Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar, does not deny the aforementioned fact and states that custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required. In view of what has been stated above, the order of this Court dated 27.1.2006 is made absolute, subject to the provisions of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. This petition stands disposed of accordingly.
