THIS revision petition has been filed by the petitioner-tenant whose eviction has been ordered by the Rent Controller under section 13-B of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act on the ground that the premises is required by the respondent-landlord, who is an NRI. During the course of hearing, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that he does not want to press this petition and undertakes that if the petitioner is granted six months time, he will vacate the same. The petitioner's offer has been accepted by Learned Counsel for the respondent-landlord , who fairly states that the petitioner may hand over the peaceful vacant possession of the premises to the landlord after the expiry of six months period.
