JUDGEMENT

(1.) IN the pending trial, petitioner was on bail. He failed to appear before the trial Court on 24.2.2006 and accordingly, his bail bonds were cancelled. Petitioner, on his own, surrendered before the trial Court on 2.3.2006 and since then, he is in jail. Counsel states that due to some wrong noting down of the date, he could not appear on the date fixed. This Courtfeels that remaining absent for one day, petitioner has undergone sufficient punishment. IN view of the facts of this case, this application is allowed and during pendency of trial, petitioner is directed to be released on bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
