SANTOSH JOHAR Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

Decided On March 21, 2006
SANTOSH JOHAR Appellant
V/S
STATE OF PUNJAB Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS petition has been filed for quashing. The petitioner is mother-in-law. Respondent No.2 in FIR, Annexure P-3, has made allegations against her, which will require to be tried. The petition for quashing is not a substitute for trial. Prayer for quashing cannot be accepted on the ground that the version of the complainant is false. No ground is, thus, made out for quashing. The petition is dismissed.
