ASHOK KUMAR MALHOTRA Vs. STATE OF HARYANA

Decided On April 20, 2006
ASHOK KUMAR MALHOTRA Appellant
V/S
STATE OF HARYANA Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Learned State counsel has produced before us the record of the petitioner, which we have perused. It has been pointed out that a show cause notice for stoppage of one increment with cumulative effect on the basis of the findings recorded by the Enquiry Officer has already been issued to the petitioner on 9.5.2005. Therefore, the aforementioned proceedings would have some bearing on the promotion of the petitioner.

(2.) Be that as it may, without going into any other question, we deem it just and appropriate to direct the respondents to consider and decide the appeal of the petitioner against the Annual Confidential Report for the period 1.4.2000 to 21.11.2000, which is pending consideration of respondent No. 1.

(3.) Learned State counsel has stated that the needful shall be done within a period of six months. A copy of the order, which is to be passed in the appeal shall be sent to the petitioner under registered cover.
