JUDGEMENT

(1.) Through the instant writ petition, the petitioner claims interest on delayed payment of provident fund and refund of Rs.6,000/- deducted from the petitioner, allegedly as having been taken as advance by the petitioner.

(2.) On the issue in hand, the petitioner claims to have submitted a legal notice dated 31.7.2006 (Annexure P/3), but no decision has been taken thereon till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied, if the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 i.e. the Civil Surgeon, Muktsar, requiring him to take a final decision on his legal notice dated 31.7.2006 (Annexure P/3). Notice of motion.

(3.) On our asking, Mr. Ashok Aggarwal, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1 to 4. Learned counsel for the respondents states that he has no objection if the instant writ petition is disposed of in terms of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
