HARDEV SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The appellant has been convicted under Sections 353 and 333, IPC and sentenced to undergo RI for 8 years.

(2.) The appellant is alleged to be given fist blows on the nose of the complainant who was a Punjab Roadways Bus Conductor. According to the appellant, the dispute arose because of non-payment of Rs. 2/- to the appellant by the complainant.

(3.) Counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant-Hardev Singh has undergone 1 year and 1 month of actual sentence out of total sentence of 8 years.
