(1.) COUNSEL for the petitioner states that alleged recovery of country-made liquor was effected from one Satnam Singh and not from the petitioner. It has further been stated that against the petitioner, only evidence available, is the statement made by said Satnam Singh that he is owner of the car in which allegedly liquor was transported. Keeping in view facts of this case, this application is allowed and arrest of the petitioner shall remained stayed, subject to his putting up appearance before the Investigating Officer as and when asked to do so and furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of that Officer and also complying terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) of Cr.P.C. Copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
