(1.) THE petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation and legal notice (P-1 & P-2 respectively). THE representation and legal notice are in respect of posting the petitioner from one place to another.
(2.) UNDER law there is no legal right to seek posting at a particular place. It is well settled, no mandamus could be issued by this Court for deciding such like legal notice as there is no right to seek posting at a particular place, as has been laid down by a Constitution Bench judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Dr. Shivendra Bahadur v. The Governing Body of the Nalanda College, 1962 Supp. 2 SCR 144. In view of above, we dismiss the writ petition.
