(2.) THE impugned order dated 7.4.2006 (Annexure P-6) has been passed by the punishing authority under the provisions of the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970. THE aforesaid order is appealable. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition so as to enable him to prefer an appeal. Notice of motion.
