(1.) THIS appeal is directed against the conviction and sentence under Sections 304-B and 201 IPC.
(2.) INITIALLY , in the trial Court there were in all three accused. They were the husband and parents-in-law of deceased Krishna. The Additional Sessions Judge, Kaithal, gave benefit of doubt to the parents-in-law of the deceased, but convicted the present appellant, the husband of the deceased, of the charge under Sections 304-B and 201 IPC.
(3.) DURING the course of investigation, the police had visited the cremation ground and collected the ashes and the remains of the burnt human being. These remains thus collected from the cremation ground were duly sent to the Chemical Examiner who reported that the burnt bones were of the human being, however, the age and the sex of the deceased could not be ascertained.
