JUDGEMENT

(1.) On 24/7/2014, while issuing notice of motion the following order was passed by this Court:-

(2.) Learned State counsel submits that petitioner No.1-Iqbal Singh has retired and petitioner No.2-Gurdeep Singh is holding rank of ASI (LR). The matter with respect to their promotion is pending before Home Department.

(3.) Mr. G.S. Bal. Sr. Advocate, who is present in Court, submits that as per his information, Home Department has cleared the file and matter is pending before Chief Secretary.
