ANOOP KUMAR ALIAS SONU Vs. STATE OF HARYANA

JUDGEMENT

(1.) ACCUSED Anoop Kumar @ Sonu has challenged the conviction and sentence passed by the trial Court under Sections 302, 364 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

(2.) IT is the case of the prosecution that accused Anoop Kumar @ Sonu having kidnapped his cousin brother Ajay on 13.9.2007, committed his murder and disposed of the dead body in a canal.

(3.) PW 4 Ram Kumar was the father of the deceased Ajay. Accused Anoop Kumar's father and Ram Kumar are brothers. PW1 Smt. Suman Devi was the mother of the deceased Ajay. Even before PW1 lodged a complaint suspecting the role of the accused, PW4 lodged a complaint as regards the disappearance of his son Ajay on 13.9.2007. He had not suspected the role of the accused being his close relative.
