JUDGEMENT

(1.) It has been contended by the counsel for the petitioner that according to the allegations in the FIR, the petitioner was alleged to be armed with a hockey and he is alleged to have given a hockey blow on the left arm of Paramjit Singh injured. He has further contended that the injury suffered by Paramjit Singh is not a grievous one.

(2.) Mr. I. P. S. Sidhu, Asstt. Advocate General, Punjab, has fairly conceded that the injury caused by the petitioner to Paramjit Singh injured is not a grievous one.

(3.) Accordingly the application for anticipatory bail is allowed. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail by the arresting officer.
