MAKHAN LAL Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioners-Makhan Lal, Sohan Lal, Piyar Kaur, Malkiat Singh, Kamlesh Kaur, Meena Rani and Atul Kumar Daroach have approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.36 dtd. 16/5/2023, Police Station Rahon, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, under Ss. 323, 324, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC, and all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise having been effected between the parties.

(2.) Vide order dtd. 9/11/2023, the parties had been directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise.

(3.) Report of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, has been received, wherein it has been reported that the statements of petitioners/accused Makhan Lal, Sohan Lal, Piyar Kaur, Malkiat Singh, Kamlesh Kaur, Meena Rani and Atul Kumar Daroach and complainant/injured Amandeep Singh and Jarnail Singh have been recorded to the effect that they have compromised the matter amongst themselves.
