GURMAIL SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE instant petition is for quashing of FIR No. 31 dated 14.03.2013 filed under Sections 323, 341, 379, 147, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Rupnagar, District Rupnagar and the consequent proceedings arising out of the same, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

(2.) REPORT has been received from the trial Court after statements of the parties was recorded regarding the compromise. The trial Court has reported that the compromise is voluntary and without any pressure or coercion. The trial Court has also sent the statements of parties.

(3.) NO useful purpose would be served to keep the said complaint pending.
