LAKHVIR SINGH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No. 33 dated 28.03.2013 for offence under Sections 363 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code (in short "IPC") registered at Police Station Sidhwan Bet, District Ludhiana, on the basis of compromise dated 19.02.2014 (Annexure P3) effected between the parties.

(2.) THE parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 25.04.2014 to get their statements recorded with regard to genuineness of compromise.

(3.) MR . Amarinder Singh Klar, AAG, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No. 1 and not disputed correctness of assertions of the petitioner that the matter has been settled by way of compromise between the parties.
