JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') seeking quashing of FIR No. 278 dated 2.5.2013 (Annexure P -1), registered for offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC) at Police Station Civil Line, Gurgaon along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise.

(2.) AS per case of the prosecution, respondent No. 2 was married with petitioner No. 1 and after the marriage, the petitioners started harassing and maltreating her on the demand of dowry and also misappropriated the dowry articles.

(3.) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the case file.
