RANJEET KAUR Vs. STATE OF HARYANA AND ORS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The matrix of the facts & material, which needs a necessary mention, for the limited purpose of deciding the core controversy, involved in the instant revision petition and emanating from the record, is that, initially, in the wake of complaint of petitioner-complainant Ranjeet Kaur d/o Mann Singh (for brevity "the complainant"), a criminal case was registered against main accused Jashwinder Singh (husband), his parents Jangir Singh s/o Hazara Singh, Balbir Kaur (parents-in-law), Rajinder Kaur @ Depinder Kaur @ Babby (respondent No.2) and her husband Tarlochan Singh s/o Ajit Singh (respondent No.3) (relatives) of the complainant, vide FIR No.9 dated 19.1.2013 (Annexure P1), on accusation of having committed the offences punishable under sections 406, 498-A, 328, 323 and 506 read with section 34 IPC by the police of Police Station Cheeka, District Kaithal.

(2.) During the course of investigation of the criminal case, respondents Nos.2 and 3 were found innocent by the investigating agency.

(3.) Sequelly, the prosecution, in order to substantiate the charges framed against the accused, examined the complainant as PW3, where she has also named respondent Nos.2 and 3 as accused.
