RAMESH Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.132 dated 13.08.2014, under Sections 452/323/148/149 IPC, registered at police station Division 8, Jullunder, District Jalandhar City and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise having been entered between the parties.

(2.) THE abovesaid FIR has been registered on the basis of statement of respondent No.2 Nirmal Singh alleging the commission of offences punishable under Sections 452/323/148/149 IPC.

(3.) DUE to the intervention of respectables, elders and friends, a compromise is stated to have been arrived at between the parties on 20.10.2014. The parties wish to live in peace and harmony and put an end to the acrimony between them. The present petition has been filed on the basis of this compromise.
