JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONER is an aspirant for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) advertised by the respondent -University vide advertisement no. 1 of 2014(P -2). He has been considered ineligible and hence the petition.

(2.) IT is averred that the petitioner possesses qualification of Diploma in Electronics and Communication and Haryana Staff Selection Commission while filling up the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) for appointment to various Departments of Government of Haryana are considering the qualifications of Diploma in Electronics and Communication as equivalent qualification of Diploma in Electrical and thus considering the candidates with such qualification to be eligible for consideration to the post of Junior Engineer(Electrical). Hence it is prayed that the University also be directed to treat them as eligible.
