KRISHNA GARG Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE present petition has been filed for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure in FIR no.50 dated 15.03.2012, under Sections 406/498A IPC, registered at police station 'A' Division, District Amritsar City.

(2.) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the whole record including the impugned order passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar dismissing anticipatory bail application filed on behalf of the petitioners.

(3.) IT has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that they have already joined the investigation pursuant to said order dated 23.05.2012. It is further contended that moreover the dispute has since been settled between the parties. A draft for Rs. 75,000/ - has been handed over by counsel for the petitioners to counsel for respondent no.2 today in the Court.
