JUDGEMENT

(1.) CRM No.4297 of 2014

(2.) IN the circumstances, the application is disposed of with a direction that reference to offences wherever occurring in the petition shall mean to include offences under Sections 494, 420 and 120 -B, IPC.

(3.) BY way of this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for brevity, 'the Code'), petitioners, the accused in FIR No.57 dated 20.08.2013 (Annexure P -1) recorded at Police Station, Hariana, District Hoshiarpur, under Sections 498 -A and 406, IPC, with Sections 494, 420 and 120 -B, IPC, added lateron, seek quashing of the aforesaid FIR and proceedings emanating therefrom by stating that the matter has been amicably settled between them and complainant/respondent No.2 vide deed of compromise dated 17.12.2013 (Annexure P -2).
