AMIT PAMMA Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) PRAYER in this petition is for quashing of FIR No. 163, dated 14.8.2012, under Sections 406 and 420, IPC, registered at Police Station, Phillaur, District Jalandhar, and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise.

(2.) VIDE order dated 11.12.2013, the affected parties were directed by this Court to appear before the learned Area Magistrate for getting their respective statements recorded with regard to the compromise and a direction was also issued to the learned Area Magistrate to send his/her report qua the genuineness of the compromise along with copies of the statements.

(3.) IN compliance of the above, both the petitioners, namely, Amit Pamma and Vishal Pamma as well as respondent No. 2/complainant, Naval Kishore Sharma, did appear before learned Sub -Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Phillaur, and got recorded their respective statements with regard to the compromise.
