JUDGEMENT

(1.) Ravdeep Singh son of Gian Singh has applied for grant of regular bail in case bearing FIR No. 23 dated 9.11.2012 under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC and Section 13(1)(d) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that other co-accused have been allowed concession of bail after custody of two months whereas Jaswant Singh holder of power of attorney has been granted bail after custody of four months vide CRM M-11604 of 2013 decided on 29.5.2013. The petitioner is in custody for the last more than 4 months. It is further submitted that Kiraninder Singh has taken whole of the money through different drafts. He was not competent to cancel the power of attorney after receiving the consideration.
