JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS appeal has been filed by the injured claimant, whose claim was partly allowed and compensation of Rs.85,500/ - was allowed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Jind vide award dated 01.06.2012. The claimant was also allowed interest @ 7.5% per annum on the amount.

(2.) THE accident has not been disputed. Vishal Singla was proceeding to his office in Sector 9, Rohini, Delhi on a motorcycle bearing registration No.HR -31E -2955. He met with an accident which was caused by respondent No.1 on 07.06.2010. He had claimed that he was working as a Management Trainee -cum -Audit Assistant in M/s R.R. Singla and Company, Chartered Accountants, Rohini, Delhi and his monthly income was Rs.20,000/ -. The claimant had suffered disability to the extent of 5% in relation of stiffness in his left knee (o/c upper end left tibia). The claimant had pleaded that he was unmarried and his marriage prospect would be affected and he had got a job offer from Southwest Hotel, London, United Kingdom and a high salary but he could not join on account of accident.
