JUDGEMENT

(1.) PETITIONERS have approached this Court with a grievance that although they have been granted the benefit of the technical pay scale as per their entitlement, however, they have been denied the benefit of arrears vide order dated 01.04.2013 (Annexure P -4). This, the counsel contends, is contrary to the decision of the Government of Haryana dated 24/31.12.2012 (Annexure P -8) and the judgments passed by this Court in CWP No. 17808 of 2011 titled as Ishwar Singh and others vs. State of Haryana and others, decided on 13.02.2012 (Annexure P -1) and CWP No. 8587 of 2012 titled as Sandeep Kundu and others vs. State of Haryana and others, decided on 25.03.2014 (Annexure P -7).

(2.) COUNSEL for the petitioners contends that since the specific decision with regard to the release of arrears and the objection, which they had taken viz -a -viz the claim, as has been granted in Ishwar Singh's case (supra), has come into existence after the rejection of the claim of the petitioners for arrears, liberty may be granted to the petitioners to file a detailed representation to the Director General of Police, Haryana -respondent No. 2, which shall be submitted within a period of three weeks' from today and the same may be directed to be considered and decided within some specified time.

(3.) IN case the claim of the petitioners is accepted, the consequential benefits, if any, be released to them, in accordance with law, within a further period of one month. In case the claim of the petitioners is not to be accepted, a well -reasoned and speaking order be passed and conveyed to them forthwith.
