JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE appeal is for enhancement of claim for compensation for death of a male, aged 45 years. He was a Supervisor in the office of Water Services Mechanical Division, Rohtak and brought on record the salary certificate that showed that he was earning Rs. 4,311/ - per month. The Tribunal assessed a compensation of Rs. 4,95,000/ -.

(2.) I shall rework the compensation under the scales provided in some of the recent decisions of the Supreme Court, making provision for prospect of increase and also grant higher sums towards loss of consortium and for loss of love and affection and tabulate the other heads of claims as under: -
