(1.) PRAYER made in the petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner during the pendency of the trial of the case.
(2.) AS per the prosecution, 1700 intoxicating tablets were recovered from the petitioner on 3.9.2013 and, accordingly, he was booked for committing the offence under Section 22 of the NDPS Act.
(3.) LEARNED State counsel has produced the photocopy of the report dated 14.7.2014 issued by the Medical Officer, District Jail Roopnagar, wherein, it is mentioned that the petitioner was sent to Civil Hospital, Ropar and then referred to PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he was diagnosed as HCV+ve and being provided treatment as per record.
