JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD . FIR No.50 dated 8.5.2012 (Annexure P1) under Sections 307, 324, 323, 506, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short,'IPC'), was registered at Police Station, City Phagwara, District Kapurthala, on the allegations that six months before, there was exchange of hot words between petitioners as well as their other accomplices and the complainant, which was orally compromised but on 7.5.2012, they again opened attack on the complainant with weapons.

(2.) PETITIONERS , qua themselves seek quashing of aforesaid FIR by saying that the matter has been amicably settled between them and the complainant as evidenced by the affidavits (Annexures P5 and P6).

(3.) THE complainant and injured, through their counsel, and the learned State counsel have no objection if the FIR and proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
