JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD . Complaint No. 827/1/2010 dated 12.10.2010 (Annexure P1) was lodged under Sections 307, 326, 324, 323, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short,'IPC'), on the allegations that petitioners and respondent No.2 belong to rival groups of political parties. A quarrel started between the parties on account of taking photographs by Paramjit Singh (petitioner No.1) and when complainant objected to it, the accused/petitioners caused injuries to him.

(2.) PETITIONERS seek quashing of aforesaid complaint by saying that the matter has been amicably settled between them and the complainant as evidenced by the deed of compromise dated 19.12.2012 ( Annexure P2).

(3.) FROM the above it is established that the parties to the lis have resolved the inter se dispute amicably and to live in peace and harmony. Reference may be made to a Five -Judges Bench decision of this Court in Kulwinder Singh v.
