JUDGEMENT

(1.) PRAYER in this petition is for grant of parole for two weeks to the petitioner, who was held guilty for the offence punishable under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and ordered to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six years besides payment of fine of Rs.10,000/ - and in default thereof to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months.

(2.) LEARNED counsel contends that mother of the petitioner has expired on 30.6.2014 and her Bhog Ceremony is to be performed on 11.7.2014. He further contends that in spite of presenting an application before the Superintendent of Jail, Kurukshetra, the same was not accepted by him.
